Dated April the 26, 1758, John Dudley, Capt. A rare survivor of early America, written in a vernacular that disregards modern spelling. Very good, with some early contemporary handwriting on the reverse by one Jonathan Thing, dated 1759, indicating good use of paper as a scarce commodity in colonial America.
