This triangular blade sword is approximately 23" overall with a 17.5" blade. The cast mountings include a "clamshell" appendage with game scene, a simple "D" guard with ornamentation and a dog's head pommel with decorative scrolling. The grip is wood with three grooves on one side. The scabbard is leather with brass throat and tip. Condition: This hunting sword is overall good with the blade showing use and old scattered erosion. The mounts and grip show a pleasing patina. The scabbard is also overall good tight seams to leather body and nice patina to mounts. The throat retains its hanging ring.
