London: William Bulmer & Co for Edward Orme 1805, the aquatints with occasional touches of gum arabic, with engraved coloured general title and engraved coloured title to 'Twenty-four Views in Hindostan', including hand-coloured stipple engraved plate of the 'Native Judges' and of 'Tippoo Sultan', most watermarked 'J.Whatman Turkey Mill 1823', one watermarked 'J.Whatman 1821' (occasional light surface soiling or spotting, light creasing to one plate, a few trimmed at left margink offsetting affecting margin of 'Tippoo Sultan', two small repaired tears to margin of 'Native Judges') Plate: 310 x 405mm Sheet: 424 x 540mm AN ALMOST COMPLETE SET OF THE FINE HAND-COLOURED AQUATINT VIEWS from Blagdon's History , lacking plates 4, 20, 26, 38 & 46 only.
