Contemp. marbled calf, gilt orn. spines with raised bands, marbled edges (rubbed, some wormholes, sm. defects to heads of 3 first vol., front joint of vol. I parly split and with labels pasted on spine). Last edition (1st: without ill.), revised by the author although published posthumously, and updated by P.-J. Mariette and G.-L.
