All volumes signed by Lawrence Ferlinghetti A selection of early first editions by Ferlinghetti, including his most popular book, A Coney Island of the Mind. Comprises: A Coney Island of the Mind. Pictorial wrappers. Signed by Ferlinghetti on the half title, along with a drawing of a face. Wear and creasing to wrappers, heavy toning to interior; good or better. City Lights, 1958. Starting From San Francisco. With a 33-1/3 RPM spoken word record of Ferlinghetti reading three poems from this work, recorded at the University of California, Berkeley, on April 22, 1960. This copy with a handwritten note laid in (along with some reviews of the work clipped from newspapers) on which Ferlinghetti has written,"Thanx for showing me these shit-ass reviews (these cats are really upset - LF." Pictorial boards. Record still sealed in sleave at rear. Rubbing to boards, offsetting to endpapers. New Directions, 1961. McClure, Michael, Lawrence Ferlinghetti & David Meltzer, editors.
