Lot of 4 portraits of President Abraham Lincoln with his family, several of which are composite images. E.B. & E.C. Kellogg: Hartford, Connecticut, n.d., ca 1865. Hand colored lithograph, 12.75 x 9 in. (sight), framed to 21 x 17 in., showing the Lincoln family gathered around a table. The President appears reading to his son Willie, while Mary Todd Lincoln poses with a young Tad at left, while Robert sits at center, with his hand resting on a book. Family scene likely composed from separate photographs of the individuals joined together for publication after Lincoln' death. Uncredited oval print, approx. 6.75 x 9 in. (sight), framed to 13.5 x 15.5 in., presenting a second composite scene of Lincoln with his wife and children. Robert stands in uniform, with his arm resting on the back of his mother's chair. Lincoln appears seated beside her, reading to Tad, with a portrait of Willie hanging on the wall in the background. "Lincoln Family" printed below image. A. Robin: New York, New York, 1869.
