Four Chinese Bronze Belt Hooks Zhou Dynasty and later One of tapered rounded shape inlaid with silver and gold line and dot design; another inlaid with three hardstone medallions and turquoise on a gently curved form cast in relief with stylized C-scrolls and with traces of gilt; another of slender curved circular section, each end terminating in an animal head, the center cast with a further animal before a knop at the reverse, with spaced rectangular turquoise inlay; another with green stone or glass inlaid into a gilt dragon form, terminating in a dragon head hook, reverse with circular knop. Light stone inlaid hook: surface pitting and degradation, animal head is bent down, green encrustation, gilt wear and loss. inlaid silver and gold hook: degradation to animal head and to reverse and dirt build up. slender hook: surface wear.
