Lot of 3 stereoviews, including: view on orange mount with verso applied paper label, 104. Indian Guard, confined in Fort Marion, St. Augustine, Fla., and O. Pierre Havens, Savannah, GA backmark. Accompanied by modern label identifying two of the subjects as Chief Heap of Birds as well as noted Kiowa Chief White Horse; view on orange mount with imprint, Florida, the Land of Flowers and Tropical Scenery, and inked title on verso, Indian Prisoners at the old Spanish Fort; and view on yellow mount with imprint, Florida, the Land of Flowers and Tropical Scenery, with applied paper label on verso, A Picture of the Indian Cut Throats & Scalpers, Who were confined in the Old Spanish Fort as prisoners of war by the United States Government. Condition: "Indian guard" view has undergone some toning, some soiling on surface, wear to mount perimeter, especially at corners, with loss to top right corner. "Indian Prisoners at the Old Spanish Fort" view shows some light toning, light wear along mount edges and corners. "Indian Cut Throats" view in very good condition, wear along perimeter of mount, especially corners.
