Near-contemporary blue calf prize binding, gilt border of double fillet enclosing single blind fillet, surrounding the gilt crest for the Blackheath Proprietary School with garland and motto in the center of the front cover, spine in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt-lettered red morocco label in one, the others decorated with elaborate flower and fronds tools (extremities just touched), all edges gilt concealing a FINE FORE-EDGE PAINTING in minute detail of the Great Court-Yard of Dublin Castle.
