Illustrated with instructional drawings by Anthony Ravielli throughout. 25.5x18 cm (10x7"), white and green cloth, lettered in orange and green, pictorial jacket; housed in custom made clamshell box, green quarter morocco and cloth, spine tooled in gilt, raised bands. First Trade Edition. Signed by Hogan on illustration facing the title. Inscribed by Wind on front free endpaper: "Ben Hogan is not a man who likes a flood of company. Ben admired Tony's work so much that he was always in pleasant humor during the days we were working in Fort Worth. Ben can be difficult but not when he is working with a fellow perfectionist like Ravielli. Herbert Warren Wind." Hogan's writing series that originally appeared in Sports Illustrated. D&M 21200; D&J H19690. Lot Amendments Condition: Bit of creasing and small tears to jacket, tape repair to verso; white cloth with some foxing; near fine in very good jacket, fine box.
