FIVE CHINESE JADE SNUFF BOTTLES 18TH/19TH CENTURY Variously carved with different subjects: the first with a recumbent horse and an inscription on the back, all on a celadon ground; the second of a pale grey tone with brown inclusions decorated with a traveller and bamboo leaves; the third of a russet green colour with figures in a landscape and a coral stopper; the fourth with a central shou character and bats on a mottled grey ground and the fifth of mottled grey colour with twin mask handles and decorated with dragons amongst cloudsR The first, 2¾. in. (6.8 cm.) high, all with stoppers (5)
