(8vo) terra-cotta cloth, paper cover and spine labels, blue-gray slipcase with paper label. One of 591 copies by Peter Beilenson in Mount Vernon for the subscribers of The Anglers' Club of New York. Inscribed presentation copy: "For Jack Forrest, with best wishes for fun on his fishless days. Sincerely, [?] Miller, Sparse Grey Hackle" in turquoise ink to front free endpaper. Author wrote under the pen name of Sparse Grey Hackle, otherwise known as Alfred W. Miller, as indicated in the Epilogue. Lot Amendments Condition: Light wear and soiling to slipcase; volume about fine in very good slipcase. Item number: 282528
