Detailed plans for New Delhi, the city designed within the district of Delhi to take the place of Calcutta as the capital of India. Planned in large part by Edwin Lutyens the city, which was mainly constructed in the years following the first world war, was inaugurated in 1931. The three parts are: First Report of the Delhi Town Planning Committee on the Choice of a Site for the New Imperial Capital. With two maps. Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of his Majesty. 'Second Report of the Delhi Town Planning Committee Regarding the North Site. With Medical Report and two maps. Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of his Majesty. Final Report of the Delhi Town Planning Committee Regarding the Selected Site. With plan and two maps. Presented to both Houses of Parliament by Command of his Majesty. OCLC/WorldCat lists only two examples of all three parts, at the British Architectural Library, and the Universiteit Leiden.
