Autograph Letter Signed, to literary editor William Lengel, concerning an interview Lengel did in which he called Hemingway crazy, writing that he has finished editing the proofs for A Farewell to Arms, hoping to work on some new short stories in Spain and mentioning that he missed seeing Ray Long in Miami because "3 drunks I was with made it impossible." 2 pages, single 8vo sheet; remnants of prior mounting at head of first page.
