By comparison with the more common 18" and 22" Peony shades, it would appear that this shade may depict a tree peony. This model was produced for a very limited time by Tiffany Studios (about 1913-1920) and its rarity and beauty make it a coveted piece today by collectors and decorative art lovers alike. The shade displays a stunning vibrant color palette. The blossoms range from deep rich reds & purples to a variation of light pinks.
