H.W Mortimer & Co (Maker's to His Majesty) cased pair of percussion target pistols, with bolted percussion locks, saw-handled grips, spur-trigger guards, in overall fine condition with re-browned octagonal barrels, swamped at muzzle, contained in the original green velvet-lined oak case with accessories: original pistol flask, cleaning rods, bullet mould, with interesting combination screw-driver and nipple wrench which unscrews to reveal a percussion cap reservoir, original lead balls (small quantity), circular mahogany cap box and a quantity of original percussion caps. This pair has been converted from flintlocks by John Manton and Son around 1826, please note one main spring has been replaced. Note: Collection of a gentleman, one of the first members of the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain.
