Moore, Buffalo, 4 September 1849, 1 3/4 pages, 4to , regarding President Zachary Taylor's health and travel plans: "I received your note of yesterday & your telegraphic dispatch today; and am happy to hear that the President continues to improve...I had intended to visit the Fair at Syracuse, and would accompany the President from here if he desires it...I wish you would consult him confidentially and ascertain whether he would prefer to have me accompany him or go without me. His wish will be imperative on me..."; FILLMORE.
