"To Ruth Ford/ from/ Bill Faulkner/ (See what you can do with this) Oxford 9 October 1959" A Mississippi native and sister of American surrealist Charles Henri Ford , model/actress Ruth Ford knew Faulkner when she attended the University of Mississippi, prior to making the journey west to Hollywood. Ford adapted Faulkner's Requiem for a Nun into a stage play. Apparently, there was the possibility of her trying her hand again here. Peterson A47.1C
