Also 1855 envelope with letter from William Grimstone to the proprietor of the "Gospel Messanger" asking for free publicity after being fined for avoiding payment of duty and rationalising "I have spent £200,000 among the Gentlemen of the Press ...... and hope for auld lang syne they will not see an old friend sink.... without rendering some help" . A most interesting lot
