Exceptionnelle monstrance cathédrale en cuivre doré La monstrance présente une riche ornementation gothique architecturée encadrant le cylindre de verre avec pinacles, pilastres amatis et quartefeuilles ajourés. La partie supérieure est en forme de clocheton surmonté d’un Christ en croix. Elle repose sur une jambe octogonale ornée d’arcatures et agrémentée en son centre, d’une sphère godronnée et terminée par un pied polylobé. Bon état. The monstrance features rich Gothic architectural ornamentation framing the glass cylinder with pinnacles, pilasters and openwork quatrefoils. The upper portion is in the form of a bell tower surmounted by a Christ on the Cross. It rests on an octagonal stem adorned with arcatures and embellished at its centre with a gadrooned sphere ending in a poly-lobed foot. Good condition.
