Hallmarked along the interior "Evald Nielsen, 830, S." Provenance: Property from the distinguished collection of Mr. James Lee Soffer, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Height: 5 1/4 in x width: 4 1/4 in x depth: 3/4 in. Gross weight: 265.6 g. Condition Request Condition Report The clasp functions and the lid closes firmly when shut; when pushed, the lid springs open smoothly and well. There is wear and scratches throughout the case consistent with age and use. The band which would have once held the cigarettes in place is missing. Wear to the interior.
