A collection of cdvs possibly collected on a European and English tour, each labeled in ink on the album leaf below the image. Included are portraits of royalty and notables, landmarks, and art. The album begins in France with the Napoleons, includes French landmarks like Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre, moves to Italian landmarks, art, and personalities, such as Pope Pius IX (hand-colored) and Cardinal Antonelli (hand-colored), in Florence, Milan, Rome, Genoa, Naples, Pompeii, Venice, on to landmarks and art in Vienna, Dresden, Berlin, Brussells, Cologne, Antwerpe, Amsterdam, Baden Baden, Strasburg, Bonn, Geneva, scenes in the Swiss Alps, and ending with a lengthy section of the British Isles including the royal family, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, various cathedrals, scenes and buildings in Oxford, and on to Scotland, Ireland, and finishing with portraits of personages such as Sir Henry Morton Stanley, Benjamin Disraelli, George Peabody &c.
