Lieutenant Pye’s heroic role in the capture of St.-Paul’s Island Bourbon is a most stirring tale of courage under fire and he well deserved his 50-pound sword. The present whereabouts of Lieutenant Pye’s sword are unknown but the Lloyd's plaque commemorating his bravery is offered here at a fraction of the price of his sword. Condition: Nice aged patina. Engraving is clear.
