Extr. rare Augsburg almanac for 1703, wrapped in "Augsburger Bronzefirnispapier". Ill. with an engr. satirical front. and 28 woodcuts (mostly emblematic) in text. This almanac started in 1694 and continued until 1784, but only a few copies of early years survived. Title in red & black, as is the almanac and its 11 facing pages. Ref. Cp. VD-18 90364031 (incompl. set 1700-1784, but not 1703). Cp. BL (has almanac for 1706). Not in BnF, Landwehr (German) etc.
