Elvis: a signed photograph and related material formerly belonging to Peter Aldersley, ex Radio Luxembourg DJ and Co-founder and Chairman of The International Elvis Presley Appreciation Society See online description for full listing £1,000-1,500 Condition: Peter Aldersley was a Radio Luxembourg DJ, an actor and an A&R talent scout at RCA Records. His long career in the music business brought him into contact with numerous stars including Elvis and The Beatles. This photo was taken backstage in Las Vegas in 1970 with Elvis donating his tandem bicycle to the Society. The bike featured in Elvis’s movie, “That’s the Way it is” and was later raffled. Peter died in 1996, aged 72. Information supplied by a family friend. The lot comprises Black and white photograph of Elvis with Peter Addersley and bicycle signed to Peter many thanks Elvis. eight copies of Elvis monthly.
