painted wooden dial with Arabic on chapter ring, inner minute ring marked with ticks and blocks every 5 minutes, spandrels with raised gilt scroll work, 30-hour wooden weight driven time and strike works, interior printed paper label with Patent Clocks./Invented By/Eli Terry./Made and Sold/At/Plymouth, Connecticut,/Eli Terry Jun'r. with printed instructions, replaced polychrome and gilt tablet with country estate and lake, mahogany case with ebonized and gold stenciled quarter columns and scroll cut crest with fruit basket and flowers, flanked by plinths on turned feet, 4" x 16.75" x 27.5" high. Condition: Refinished, and re-stenciled, currently not running.
