An autograph album compiled by Hubert Lunn [pianist] of Netherton, Huddersfield, circa 1899-1937, mostly theatrical and musical autographs including 'Edward Elgar' dated 2nd November 1917 in the composer's hand, below which appears an autograph musical quotation signed by H. Walford Davies dated 25 October 1918 and with a footnote to Elgar's autograph, 'To whom we owe so great a debt', autograph sentiment of Walter Parrott pasted to bottom right of same page, other autographs include Pablo de Sarasate, Jaroslav Kocian, Henry J. Wood C. Hubert Parry, Thomas F. Dunhill, Hugh Robertson, Herbert Harold (all autograph musical quotations signed), Clara Butt, Willibald Richter Edward Lloyd Agnes Nicholls, Granville Bantock, Harry Plunket Greene, R. Vaughan Williams, Elsie Sudaby, Leopold Godowsky, Ellen Terry C. Armstrong Gibbs, etc., signed and inscribed and usually as multiples to rectos and versos of the first 34 leaves, remaining leaves blank, owner's name and address details to front free endpaper, contemporary padded morocco, torn and worn, 4to (22 x 18 cm) (1)
