Engraved title and 59 plates by Bernard Picart extra-illustrated with AUTOGRAPH MANUSCRIPT RECEIPT SIGNED BY EISENBERG, addressed to 'le Chevalier Fontaine', acknowledging payment of the final part of Sir Andrew's subscription, dated London 18 February 1729, mounted onto front free-endpaper. (Plate numbers 39, 42, 51, 54, and 55 somewhat browned.) Contemporary mottled calf gilt, spine in seven compartments with raised bands, red morocco lettering-piece, the others with repeat pattern including elephant crest (head of spine slightly chipped).
