EINSTEIN, Albert (1879-1955). Autograph correspondence card signed ('Papa') to his son Hans Albert and his family ('Mein Lieben'), n.p. [Zurich], n.d. [5 November 1930], including notes from Mileva and Eduard Einstein, one page, 8vo ; together with a sketch of a child stooping over a cat, apparently in the hand of Mileva Einstein, on a fragment of an envelope. Relativity 'nuts to crack': Einstein has 'pitched his nomad's tent in the old home country' -- the best bit of the holiday was a musical afternoon with Eduard and a 'temperamental Baroness. [Aurel] Stodola is completely stuck with relativity and gives me nuts to crack when he can't manage them'. Einstein is engaged for the jubilee of his alma mater in Zurich, but afterwards it is back home and back to work. Brief messages from Mileva and Eduard ('Teddy, stud. med.'), as well, presumbly, as Mileva's sketch, refer to Einstein's new grandson, Bernhard.
