Contemporary panelled calf with floral cornerpieces. 7 5/8 x 5 inches (19.5 x 13 cm); [2], vi, 343, [9] pp. Expertly rebacked preserving much of original spine but with some unobtrusively replaced leather to spine and corners, the original endpapers preserved but soiled and with offsetting from pastedowns, stain to gutter of last leaves, some faint spotting throughout but generally clean. A good copy in panelled calf of Edwards' seminal work of the first "Great Awakening," the printing of which makes use of some fine woodblock ornamentation. Evans 5767.
