Edwardian Five Strand Seed Pearl, Pink Tourmaline Bead, Platinum, Carved Pink Tourmaline, Diamond and Emerald Sautoir Composed of five strands of seed pearls, spaced by 8 pink tourmaline beads, suspending one carved pink tourmaline pendant approximately 42.0 x 34.0 x 5.7 mm., with a pierced platinum diamond-set and calibre-cut emerald cap, completed by a platinum clasp set with 3 old European and single-cut diamonds, circa 1915, one small diamond missing. Carved pink tourmaline: medium deep purplish-pink, slightly included, cleanish, transparent, good polish. 1 11/16 x 1 5/16". Pink tourmaline beads: medium light to medium deep purplish-pink, slightly included, transparent, good polish. Seed pearls: slightly creamy. Emeralds: deep bright green. Scrolled engraving on reverse of cap. Good condition.
