A lightly fictionalized biography of Edna L. Griffin (1905-1992), Pasadena’s first black female physician. She also served as the president of the local NAACP chapter, successfully desegregating the Brookside Plunge swimming pool and integrating African Americans into the police force, YMCA, and more.
