Ed. Richard Neville, Jim Anderson & Felix Dennis. London, Oz Publications, 1967-1973. Nos. 1-4, 6-41 and 46(no. 8 incl. poster, no. 21 with inlay, no. 24 incl. Crumb poster, no. 26 with inlay). Art, graphic design and (fold-out) covers by Martin Sharp a.o. Some signs of age and wear; no. 4 bookblock detached and cover split along spine. No. 21 cover worn and bottom waterst., no. 46 partly waterdam. Still a fine and almost complete (41 of 48 issues) set of Oz magazine including the rare first issues and (fold-out) covers by Sharp. *Oz Magazine was the most iconic and controversial counterculture magazine of the 1960s and early 1970s, covering subjects such as feminism, gay rights, racism, sex, drugs, rock music and the Vietnam War. The magazine's use of visually striking graphic art and innovative printing techniques (including fold-out posters, metallic foils and new fluorescent inks) and provocative photographic images was accompanied by equally provocative editorial content.
