Rare forgery of the final edition. Considered as the encyclopedia of anti-colonialism of the eighteenth century, the work had a thrilling success throughout Europe and America. Immediately put to the index, condemned to be suppressed in 1779, was sentenced to fire in 1781. The Histoire Philosophique It is at the same time a story of exploration and commercial business around the world and a violent denunciation of slavery and exploitation of colonies by European countries. Abbot Raynal took advantage of the collaboration of Diderot, Pechmeja and Holbach; Book 19, Volume 10, is the 'Tableau de l'Europe' by Alexandre Deleyre.
