Brass furniture heavily embellished with engraved foliate and classical motifs, flat sideplate engraved with dog chase hunting scene. Engraved brass wrist escutcheon with stag and foliate patterns. Wood stock with checkered grip and ebonize forend cap. Wood ramrod. Condition: Very good. Smooth steel gray patina with traces of blue at breech and scattered light age staining and minor surface oxidation. Lock mechanically functional, good bore. Brass mounts cleaned to bright. Wood ram rod old and probably period but too short for the barrel.
