Early Dish, circa 1934 Earthenware, transparent yellow glaze over cream and dark brown trailed slip design across the well, impressed Leach Pottery seal H 4.5cm, W 33cm, D 25.3cm PROVENANCE: Acquired from CBS Ceramics, St Ives; together with a letter from John Beddding accrediting the dish to Bernard Leach personally. CONDITION: Some very minor losses to the rim, consistent with many works from this early period, and a small repair to the rim, otherwise in good condition
