9mm Parabellum. 3.875" barrel length. SN: 64232. Single-action semi-automatic pistol with removable 8-shot magazine, and fixed sights. Blued finish to barrel and slide with a dull finish to lower portion of frame. This item has a grip safety and checkered walnut grips. There is an (American Eagle) crest marked to top of slide, and DWM manufacturer mark to top of center link. Marked with 1908-1914 commercial (Crown/N) proof mark to left of slide, and left side on center link. Has serial number and Germany marked to front of frame. Includes a leather police-style holster marked C.E. RUEGSEGGER/BERN/04 to backside, and has 006 written on inside of holster flap. This model appears to have been made sometime around 1906 based on serial number identification. Provenance:From the Collection of Charlie Hinton Condition: Very good. Bore is frosty, shows some evidence of pitting, but sharp rifling remains. Losses to finish on muzzle and raised edges primarily on left side most likely from holstering. Accoutrements show some discoloration. Holster shows signs of wear due to age, flap strap has ripped off of holster, is still attached to clasp.
