Kupferkarten u. -pläne, 12 heraldische Kupfertafeln sowie 8 (7 doppelblattgr., 1 gefalt.) gest. Stammtafeln. Ldr. d. Zt., Außengelenke geplatzt, Rücken oben u. unten mit kl. Fehlstelle.
Pocket atlas of Louis XIV’s territorial gains, consisting of double-page engraved title, 2 (1 folding, 1 double-page) engr. tables, 25 double-page engr. maps and plans, 12 engr. armorial plates, and 8 (7 double-page, 1 folding) genealogical plates. Intended for publication in 1660 and delayed until 1663. "No edition dated 1660 has been traced but the earliest one known has an engraved title-page dated 1663, with the figure ‘3’ being changed from ‘0’. The engraving is poorly executed so that the figure could easily be mistaken for ‘9’" (King). - Some staining in places, some occasional dampstaining. Contemporary calf, somewhat worn, splits to joints, head and tail of spine chipped.
