Stellenweise gleichmäßig ganz leicht gebräunt, 2 Bll. des Vorworts etwas stärker gebräunt. First edition. Illustrated with 1 engr. guiding plate and 150 engr. plates with fine contemp. colouring. - Partially mild browning, 2 leaves of preface somewhat heavier. A fine wide margined copy, bound in contemp. full green morocco, spines, triple fillet borders, extremities, inner dentelles and all edges gilt; some rubbing to extremities and raised bands, spines little sunned, small scrape to rear cover of 1st vol.
