Tan half morocco gilt, t.e.g. by Sotheran, (supplement similarly bound by Period Binders), Presentation copy from Henry Seebohm (1823-95) to the Boys School, York, with autograph inscription in volume I "...this work is by far the best book which has hitherto appeared on European Birds, and is one which no ornithologist can do without - London,. 5 April 1882", and minor corrections throughout.
