Edward Newton bookplate (sale, Parke-Bernet, 18 April 1941, lot 558); and 48 drawings consisting of 12 drawings each from Pickwick Papers , Barnaby Rudge , Martin Chuzzlewit , and Dombey and Son , n.p.n.d., on loose sheets, 292 x 221 mm. (11 1/2 x 8 3/4 in.) in blue morocco gilt folding box by Bayntun (Riviere) , the drawings with background detail, fully colored, general title in black and brown ink, section titles in black ink ( Barnaby Rudge with original ms. title by Clarke listing characters, mounted on plain paper wrappers, torn ); together 79 original drawings, each 178 x 114 mm.
