Batman and Robin finally locate the new hideout, only to be taken prisoner and left to perish in a diabolical deathtrap while the Penguin races off to steal some priceless pearls from wealthy Mrs. Van Voort. By the time the villain completes the theft and returns to his shop, however, Batman and Robin have freed themselves from his trap and opened every umbrella in the shop, enabling them to apprehend him easily when he barges unsuspectingly into the hideout and becomes hopelessly entangled in the morass of rolling umbrellas." — Michael L.
