DescriptionDesigner: John Pashe (b.1945)
Unframed: 30 x 40 in. (76 x 102 cm)
Signed by Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick 'Brad', Patricia Quinn 'Magenta' and Stephen Calcutt 'A Transylvanian'
There is a Beckett witnessed holographic sticker on the bottom right-hand side, and a Tim Curry holographic sticker on the left.
It is rare for anyone to have an original poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/DVD sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
This cult musical was written by Richard O'Brien, who played Riff Raff in the film, and directed by Jim Sharman. The cast also incudes Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Nell Campbell and Patricia Quinn. It is a tribute to the kitsch sci-fi films of the 50s and B movies. It tells the story of a recently engaged very innocent couple (Brad and Janet) whose car breaks down in an isolated area. They seek shelter from the heavy rainfall at the residence of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a mad scientist from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania, who has created a muscle man called Rocky (Peter Hinwood). This new creation is being unveiled on the evening they arrive, and they soon get caught up in the crazy goings on at the Frankenstein's place. This is no ordinary 'science fiction/double feature', so let's just 'take a step to the right, put your hands on your hips' and 'don't dream it, be it!'Condition reportLinen backed
