Description: A collection of 4 canteens of flatware as follows: Canteen 1 A mahogany veneered case containing EPNS flatware Serves 6 with 4 additional serving spoons and carver, 1 fork and 1 sharpener Brass hinges and two clasps Dimensions: width 43.5cms, depth 28cms, height 7cms Condition The veneered case is in good condition with only minor scratches The hinges are secure and the lid closes as it should The clasps are fully operational and in good condition The flatware items require a clean, as is to be expected Canteen 2 Mahogany case. The lid lifts to reveal a fitted interior for 12 fish knives and forks which are plated. The canteen has an upper and a lower tray each containing 6 knives and forks Manufacturer's mark: HA EA FA Fitted with a lock. The key is present Plain brass cartouche to the top and a plain brass escutcheon Dimensions: width 36.5cms, depth 27cms, height 6cms Condition: Heavily tarnished items The blue cloth interior is shabby The case is robust but there are scratches to the upper surface The key is present and works, but the lock needs lubricating Canteen 3 A 124 piece of Stainless Steel flatware (Ancestor Plate) with a diagram of the correct location of each piece Manufacturer: Webber and Hill Ltd Orange, felt fitted interior Brass hinges - secure. The lid closes and fits as it should Dimensions: Width 59cms, depth 36cms, height 9.5cms Condition: some items need polishing Canteen 4 A 74 piece EPNS canteen of cutlery including carving knife and fork and sharpening steel Maker's mark (Hall and Anderson Ltd) Calcutta The pieces are set within a dark green interior which lies within a walnut case Campaign style handles to the sides Dimensions of the case: width 50.5cms, depth 39cms, height 11.5cms Condition: Numerous scratches to the case Stainless steel hinges and handles all in good order. The lid of the case closes as it should Handles to the knives are in good order Forks, spoons etc need to be cleaned as is to be expected Fitted with a lock but there is no key
