Germany, circa 19th century. 2 sets of 8 cards, one set with Roman numerals and one set unnumbered, in the original decorated paper covered wooden box with sliding lid. The cards in both sets have eight common colored objects, like a sun, a sword, a hat, a bunch of grapes, an anchor, a bugle, a boot, and a butterfly for example, randomly placed on each card. The instructions to this game are lacking.
