A fine and rare 18K gold openface minute repeating perpetual calendar keyless lever watch with phases of the moon Signed Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen, 33 Cockspur St., London, No. 29716, circa 1890 With three quarter plate gilt finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, repeating on two polished steel hammers onto a gong, gold cuvette with engraved inscription Montre de mon père, aujourd'hui ma montre, demain la montre de qui? Qu'importe, tu marqueras toujours le temps, pourvu que celui qui regarde le temps comprenne un peu l'espace, moi qui l'ai tant aimé. Paco 24 Fév. 1922 , the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel spade hands, four subsidiary dials indicating month combined with leap year indicator, constant seconds combined with month, date and phases of the moon, in plain circular case with repeating slide in the band, case numbered, cuvette numbered and stamped with maker's mark C.N./E.N. for Nicole, Nielsen & Co., dial and movement signed and numbered 51 mm. diam.
