Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen, 33 Cockspur Street, London, No. 30'585, stamped with London date letter for 1889 Three quarter plate gilt-finished lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, quarter repeating on two hammers onto two gongs, gold cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, plain circular case, engraved initials AA surmounted by a crown to the front, repeating slide in the band, case numbered and stamped with casemaker's initials RN for Robert North and London date letter for 1889, dial and movement signed and numbered 53 mm. diam.
