This is considered the first book form English printing of the Declaration of Independence which appears on page 261 in a section headed Reasons assigned by the Continental Congress, for the North-American Colonies and Provinces withdrawing their Allegiance to the King of Great-Britain. It is followed by the Articles of Confederation, headed Articles of Confederation and perpetual Union between the States of New-Hampshire, Massachusetts-Bay, Rhode-Island, Connecticut, New-York, Pennsylvania, the Counties of Newcastle, Kent, and Sussex, on Delaware-River, Maryland, Virginia, North-Carolina, South-Carolina, Georgia.
