Note:
The Golden Cockerel Press ran from 1920 to 1961. From 1924 it was run by the wood engraver Robert Gibbings (1889-1958), who was also one of the founding members of the Society of Wood Engravers. Jones was one of a number of artists, including John Nash, Eric Gill and Mabel Annesley who created illustrations for the press.
