Note:
'Le Tricorne' (The Three-Cornered Hat) was a ballet commissioned by Sergei Diaghilev of the Ballets Russes, first in London at the Alhambra Theatre on 22nd July 1919, with sets and costumes created by Pablo Picasso Laura Knight was given permission by Diaghilev to work backstage at this and other performances from 1911 onwards, creating some of her most iconic works, many of which are now in museums including 'In the Coulisses' (Falmouth Art Gallery) and 'Les Sylphides' (Birmingham Museums Trust).
